You are the infamous Space Bandit, one of the solar system's most wanted space criminals. Having survived being abandoned and left for dead by your own gang, you are now on a space rampage, pillaging your ex-gang's hideouts! But how can Space Bandit hope to kill his entire ex-gang alone? Space Bandit can dual wield any gun he finds or steals from his enemies. He also can carry one throw-able item (his favorite is the HE Grenade), equip an armored helmet, a *Deadman Teleporter, one *active special and as many *passive specials as he can find.

The Deadman Teleporter is Space Bandit's most important piece of gear. It lets him teleport to any position on the map and as bonus telefrag any enemies along the way. It'll even activate on death freezing time and letting you escape to safety (you do in fact die, just it knows how to put your atoms back together).

Active specials are super weapons granted by kill streaks. Space Bandit's favorite is the Rail Gun that can shoot enemies through walls. And make sure you don't hoard your active special, it levels up the more you use it making it more powerful over the run!

But what if you're running low on gear, maybe you only have one bullet left? No problem. The environment & physics of Space Bandit is another weapon. Just blow a window and vent your enemies into space! Too many enemies? Easy, take out one half with a well placed grenade, then use the smoke cloud as cover while you take out the stragglers.

And you're going to need all this gear and environmental damage because the AI is madly advanced and challenging. They'll always work together to flank you, they'll call out your position to each other, they'll revive each other and generally make you suffer :)
